Artist Statement

In 1993 we bought our home based primarily on one look out a west facing window. The view took our breath away and is still as fascinating now as it was then. One of the first things I do every morning is to look out that same window to see what the weather is like. The sign at our gate reads "Done Lookin" as we are done looking for a place to live. It's also a really nice play on our surname.

I spent the better part of my life working as an accountant. I tried many crafts and art forms to express my buried creativity. A class in stained glass in 1994 freed that creativity and when I was introduced to fused glass a few years later I knew I'd found the enduring love of my life.
The best known example of my stained glass work is the windows at St Andrews on the Square in Kamloops, BC. I'm still proud and pleased with how they turned out.

KAMLOOPS COURTHOUSE GALLERY ARTISTS' CO-OP

I have been an active member of the Kamloops Courthouse Gallery since its inception in 2007. I cannot overstate the positive influence that talented group of artists has had on my creative process and inspiration.

The currently available pieces of my work can be viewed there Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM.

I generally work Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM. Please email me if you'd like to connect with me there on a different day and/or time.
